Image Manager for Solo 4K - Vix 3 2 027 not working??

I've just installed the first vix image for the SOLO 4K

I've also loaded a few plug-ins and more

having done this I tried to do a Full backup
but it says
Image Manager
Backing up Kernel 54/100
this stays on screen for approx 20-25 minutes
then you get a message
Image Manager
Error: Timeout elapsed, sorry

This happened on the first builds of VTI for solo4k.

That is just for couch flashing, doesn't currently work on any Solo4k image, making a back up image to HDD should work.

Backup image is not currently working.

Backup Image works just fine. Image Manager doesn't, this is clearly stated in the release notes.

Backup image is not currently working.

I have restored a Backup Image on my Solo 4K Boss. I did this on the last Dev build (28/11/2015) from a previous Dev build (25/11/2015).

I flashed image using a usb but restored from a settings and plugins restore. I know the Image Manager doesn't work.

That is a settings backup. Not an image backup.

But Backup Manager does work, does it not? Image Manager is where you couch flash yeah? And Backup Manager is where you save your current image settings etc?

... And the same as the other Arm chip box .. The wetek..
For the time being it would be worth just tweaking the vix plugin in vix-core to not show image backup/restore for the 4K... Its just a couple,of lines of code.... And saves these threads.:)

Yes backup manager works for settings etc.., but ImageManager does not.

Oh right, is there a reason you can't create an image in VIX, yet you can in ATV?
(And also blackhole and vti).

we use different image managers.
