The Et8000 is a good but boringly solid box that performs as per the specs.... Excellent remote...... But no transcoding

I debated which box to get and after years of clone boxes and others i just wanted a sold working box with the ability to use cable and sat tuners.

It has been called "boring" but it's far from it. Does what it is supposed to do. No crashing or any problems at all. Everything just works.

That's why its "boring", its a really good receiver for the UK market.
