Hi Guru's

What is the right position in satellite.xml for 1W and 5E?

Seems to get ABM confused after update?

Thanks in advance,
Tom

1 West and 5 East are the correct positions, they used to be 0.8 west and 4.8 east but the governing body who regulate these things decided to change them hence the confusion.

Don't use any old provider files. Flash latest image and the three providers on 0.8/1W will work just fine.

What about 5e should that work ad well?
Will i have to change the custom files as well like favorites.XML etc.?

5E works too. The only provider that has been removed is Polsat. The same channles are on NC+

Custom and favourite files are independent of ABM scanning parameters. Only the provider name is used.

Positions in satellites.xml are 4.8E and 0.8W.

If these positions are used you will have full compatibility with ABM and settings from the feeds.

1 West and 5 East are the correct positions, they used to be 0.8 west and 4.8 eastWithout getting into a debate about who is right or wrong...

The changes to satellites.xml have been reverted at the request of other OE-Alliance members, and ABM contains workaround for these orbital slots.

If the latest image is downloaded all parts of it are compatible with each other, but people mix and matching files will run into trouble.
