Location of satellites.xml

Is the satellites.xml located in var/etc
or var/etc/tuxbox
It's just that I'm using Dreambox Control Centre and I'm to back up the old one
before I replace it with the new one.

it differs from os to os
for E1 boxes its
/var/etc/
for E2 boxes its
/etc/tuxbox/

p.s there is no
VAR/ETC/TUXBOX on E2 boxes it's just
/etc/tuxbox/

But for PLi (based) images that are just the system files that will be updated (overwritten) by an image update.
For those images a user file should go to /etc/enigma2
