Configuring cable tuners

I've plugged in a dual cable tuner and selected dvb-c, confguration mode is enabled and where the network i.d was I've put in 41050, leaving everything as it is, I've tried to scan for services and it fails, what am I doing wrong? Thanks

I've opted to go down this route and just use ABM which is sorted me out

Yes that is the way virtually everyone goes, thank god for ABM.
