CrossEPG foler querie

Got my EPG set to be stored on usb flash drive and works fine.
Just been exploring folders on the VU+ through Filezilla and found that theres also a crossepg folder on the HDD.

Heres what Ive got:

USB flash drive:
/media/usb/crossepg:
crossepg.log Last modified 13/11/15 13:54:00
crossepg.indexes.db Last modified 13/11/15 05:00:00
crossepg.header.db Last modified 13/11/15 05:00:00
crossepg.descriptors.db Last modified 13/11/15 05:00:00
crossepg.aliases.db Last modified 13/11/15 05:00:00

The above on the usb flash seems to be the current list updated this morning.

Internal HDD:
/media/hdd/crossepg:
crossepg.log Last modified 12/11/15 05:00:00
crossepg.indexes.db Last modified 12/11/15 05:00:00
crossepg.header.db Last modified 12/11/15 05:00:00
crossepg.descriptors.db Last modified 12/11/15 05:00:00
crossepg.aliases.db Last modified 12/11/15 05:00:00

And above is whats on the internal HDD and seems to be yesterdays list.

Is it normal to have a crossepg folder on the HDD when its set to store on the usb flash?
