hello i have a 32bg hard drive connect selected "initialization" setup crossepg all fine recordings working all fine
than when i restart the box and than try and record i get message "WRITE ERROR on recording, disk full? So i have to keep doing convert EXT3 to EXT4
than it lets me record again

Why do i have to keep doing this with every restart

Initialise the HDD, reboot, check mount manager. Blue button > ViX > Mount Manager.

Its worth just going to the mount mgr and check exactly what is mounted and how ...... And which are marked as hdd.... And exactly which disk in recordings/setup is defined.
Sometimes its real easy especially after flashing to assume that all settings are correct :)

Just confirm the size of the HDD - you wrote 32bg in your first post. Is it 32GB? or 320GB? The default recording settings require at least 40GB to be free before it will record. A 320GB disk is relatively small when you consider high definition programme recordings can take 5GB or more each.
