How do I check what bootloader is currently on my lx2

The LX3 display the bootloader version during startup. If a receiver does not, connect a null modem cable and observe the booting process using Putty etc.

Othewise, just flash the latest one. You then know which one you have.

you flash bootloader using USB exactly the same way you do with an image.
