Vu Solo 4K

Thinking of cancelling my order for the Vu Duo 2 and getting the Solo 4K. Any idea when there will be an Openvix image for this?

OK thanks. Assume Blue HD skin only runs on Openvix? I ask as that is what lead me to Openvix :)

Seems crazy to get a 1080p box when I have a 4K TV. Realise hardly any 4K Sat content but Solo 4K seems better planning?

Got mine up and running now using Black Hole image. All is working fine. Will we see mgcamd any time soon?

Probably not, that and the other where closed source and unless the authors decide to come out of retirement you are going to have to learn Oscam... That is open source and still in development and that is why it works.

If you are comfortable messing around with this stuff you could try googling for mgcamd for the Coolstream box which is also ARM, no idea if it will work though, be interesting to know.

I think the only softcam Solo4k will ever see is OSCAM.

@ the op, if you want a fully working, easy to setup box, I'd stick with the Duo2 for now.
