Cant flash with USB

I have tried to do a USB flash but I dont get conf appearing on the LCD. I am using the same USB stick I always used and even tried a different stick to see if the original stick was kaput.

I am on the latest image and I use VIX->Image Manager -> Download image ->Restore Image (ofgwrite) to upgrade to ver 21

This works fine but I am a bit worried when a usb flash is required I wont be able to do it,.

any help appreciated.

You can couch flash... Do a settings backup, then go to Vix, image manager, yellow I think to download and choose latest version.

So this is the same as a USB flash?

I just ask incase some drivers etc change.
