View Full Version : [VU+ Solo2] VIX 3.2.20 - Remote control not working

Hi

Just flashed my Solo2 with 3.2.20 and when it comes to the first set up page when selecting your input - The box does not seem to be picking up any signals from my remote control.

Its an original box and remote purchased from WOS so defo not a fake.

The remote has new batteries so i'm a bit lost here.

Is this a known issue ?

Can anyone help ?

i have had the same problem when flashing to 3.2.20 so done as documented in the thread above (but restored to the last HADES image) and guess what ??? my remote worked again.

3.2.20 BUG ?? for sure...!!

what else could it be ?

It stopped working after the new version - After rolling back to a previous version it worked again. Not sure what else it could be ? any ideas ?

Did you restore to a backup image or clean image?

Clean image (last hades one from archives) from the open vix downloads.

So clean image from downloads and then restored to a previous back up using my remote.

Your remote is using a non-default remote code, set by yourself or someone else at some stage.

Ok thanks. So what would the default one be?

I have the option of 1, 2, 3, 4?

Mine is set to 2

2 is the default code. Note that you need to program the remote to suit the receiver not the other way round. Instructions are on the forum somewhere

Use a app eg E2 remote as a remote and reset the remote to code 2 I had the same problem and that fixed it

I have not had a chance to try it yes - still on the reverted version of Hades.

Will surely take all the advice posted here and report back with my results

Hi all,

Finally got round to it.

Changed remote code to 2 and it worked.

Thanks to all for ur help.

Appreciated
