N/a in bouquet.

That normally happens when bouquet files have been deleted. When you post more details, we can assist with a resolution.

Start with disabling unlinked bouquets. Also purged orpahend bouquets, or words to that effect.

Am using openvix image 3.2 ,catseye E2 channel list astra 28 and EPG.

are the channel with n/a working or not?

Normally n/a means that the cannel are in bouquet but not in lamedb. You could try a full channel scan and then reload bouquets.

I went through software update to update channel list alone but said list not found.

Cateye's cjhanenl lists are not on plugin feeds any more, so you cannot download via software update, chanenl lists only. If you want to use his list, redownload it and transfer via settings editor such as E-Chanenlizer, DBedit, Dreamset.

Alternatively, use ABM.
