Hi, looking to obtain an archived version of image 3.0.790 or one neraby in that series.

I have just updated to the latest image via a fresh usb flash and having some tuner issues with tuner B, set to motorised, usals (tuner A is fixed). Basically getting tune failed on channels that used to clear, lots of them actually. Autobouquets would not run on 28.2 until I disconnected tuner B (tuner not available), it's now running, including with tuner B set up as positioner. Image seems fine, and pretty sure it is related to my settings, or perhaps the satellites xml problem reported by some. I transferred the lastest Malimali motorised across, after initial set up. Could this have messed with the xml, or be incompatible with the updated version?

I want to flash back to the old image so I can restore settings to see shat they were, particularly tuner configeration. I remeber messing around with my lat/long setting as dish is very hard to get to, to peak the signal, but don't have a record, so just have dishpointer settings in there now. I can't go back via image restore as a message says backup is not compatible. So I want to flash the old image, restore from my backup, check settings and then flash the new image again and input my settings during a fresh install.

Can anybody point me in the direction of an archived image? I've looked but can't find it anywhere, sorry.

If you have a settings back up from the old image you can ftp the back up to your PC, open the archive, navigate to etc/enigma2/ settings and see what the settings where, better still you can put enigma to sleep init 4, paste the settings into your current settings file then wake enigma init 3 and it will be done.

The archived images still held can be found on http://ww.openvix.co.uk
For your VU Duo, have a look at: http://www.openvix.co.uk/index.php/downloads/vu-plus-images/vu-duo/

You could also run your settings through http://satellites-xml.org/tools/enigma2-settings-converter.php to ensure they're compatible with current images.

Thanks, but it is pre Apollo so not there, I had looked, hence the request.

I'd kind of gathered that but wondered on the off chance that somebody may have a copy kept locally, but it seems not.

The ftp the backup back to my pc seems an option, I'll look into that and see how I get on.

Thank you everybody who has offered an opinion and help, much appreciated.

Managed to find image version I was looking for and now realise the problem isn't image related, my dish has moved slightly.

I have been using the sat positioner to step east and west so I know which way to go when I climb up there. Quick question, in the fine tuning, any one know how much movement there is in each step? I need to adjust west between 8 -12 steps. Looking to peak signal on 1W Thor. Any help/tips most welcome.
