Re Plugins and Updating

Please can you tell me if there are any issues with the openvix download centre as I get the following when trying to download plugins or software Updating "There is an error please try again.If this issue persist please contact openvix".
I have noted that the openvix is green stable. This has been for over 24 Hrs. is there any way of checking this out
