View Full Version : [CrossEPG-Config] CrossEPG losing program titles

I've configured cross epg to use the opentv provider, and that appears to work ok.

However, after a few minutes, program data appears to go missing. Just now in the epg the title on one of the channels disappeared - when I select that channel I can see the title of the next programme, but the current one is now an empty string.

Redownloading the provider fixes the problem temporarily, but then it happens again.

What gives?

The epg is set to save to disk, and I running the latest vix.

Please help.

"Latest" is a variable, so does not really mean anything. Anyway, unlikely to be image related.

Have you tried deleting the EPG data?

I've just installed from scratch, so I'm not sure what deleting the EPG data would do. :)
Latest == Hades 018 (At least I think it was the latest when I downloaded it last week).

EPG -> Settings -> Media Location -> /media/hdd

When you install image, nothing on HDD is touched. There is possibility the EPG data is corrupt. I'd delete it.

Hades 18 is not latest image. You can find latest images on openvix.co.uk

Ah, ok. Perhaps it is from the previous apollo install. I'll try deleting it.

Is the latest now just called openvix?

The current image branch/range is "3.2"

That EPG data on your HDD is not image specific.

Ok, so it shouldn't have corrupted then. Strange. I'll delete (as soon as the missus finished her show)
