startup in 1080p

Is it possible to get 3.2.09 to start up in 1080p instead of 720 which the screen then goes black and switches to 1080P

You have to start off with a setting that is likely to apply with least issue. Some receivers do not support 1080p.

You don't have to wait for teh screen to scroll throgh the options, do it yourself and select the one you want then press OK.

It does that on them all and like Abu said the box goes through various stages of loading settings before it gets to the point where it enables 1080, 720 is a resolution that virtually every hdmi device can support, you will find a pc does exactly the same, as will almost every display device that 'pulls itself up by its BOOT straps'

When I boot mine it will display 720 then switches to 1080 which I have enabled in settings
