Hi. I'm completely new here so if I'm posting in the wrong section - mods please move where appropriate.

I'm in the market for an inexpensive combo satellite receiver box for Irish channels & UK channels.

I'm looking for a one that has 7 day EPG for both the Irish & UK channels.
More importantly, as I'm Deaf I'm looking for one that's capable of showing subtitles on recordings. Last thing I want is to buy a box that records programs but not necessarily the subtitles.

Can anyone help recommend such a box within my budget of around £130?

Thanks!

All e2 boxes should record subs as they record transport streams.

Sorry to sound like a total noob here, but what are e2 boxes?

Receivers that run Enigma2

You did mention Combo reciever, just to confirm....
Are you looking to receiving Terrestrial channels too?

Yeah I'm looking to receive Irish Digital Terrestrial TV (Saorview Channels) & standard & HD UK Satellite Channels.

My main criteria is a box that is capable of recording programs with subtitles (that's a must) and a box that is capable of showing a 7 day EPG for both Irish & UK channels.

The thing that concerns me most is the recorded programs with subtitles; some of my friends have mentioned that they have recorded programs that were subtitled at the time of broadcast, but when they sit down to watch it, the recorded program has no subtitles saved with it.
