Hi there,

I just cannot get cccam working ony my vu+ duo with the vix image 1.3

I've installed it fine by holding long blue then short green etc...

Also activated cccam 2.1.4 too and I have copied my cfg file to /etc.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

what i suspect your issue is is what is not allowed to be disscussed here

as stated in Rule 3 of the rules here

http://www.vuplus-support.co.uk/showthread.php?2-Please-read-the-rules-here

Hi Silverfox,

Yes I saw the rule number 3:
"3. Emulator config's can be discussed ONLY on a basic config F,C & N line level, i.e help setting up your CCcam.cfg. No promoting of cardsharing rings."

I thought I would be ok to discuss as it is on basic level in setting up CCcam.cfg and I am not promoting any of the cs rings at all.

hope this is ok.

thanks

we will help you install CCcam. we will help you create a CCcam.cfg file and show you where it goes but thats about as far as it goes. we will not and can not help you in any other aspect of the config file as it is a direct breach of the rules.

Hi Pheonix,

Any help would be good. Does the cfg file have to go in the /etc folder?

I have copied my cfg file from my old dreambox. Would that cfg file be correct to use?

Thanks

it should work have you started your softcam in softcam manager

and performed a full software update

possibly a reflash may fix it

as what your saying seems to me that your not doing anything wrong

Check your CCcam.cfg. Open it in notepad, make sure all details are correct.

Hi,

I'm back to square one after trying few images. I went back to vix and now CCcam wont work again.

The cfg are in place and cam is running but just wont work. It works fine on my dm800.

What can I do to look deeper?

thanks

put it this way, i've put my cccam.cfg into /etc and it works fine as have many others. so then there are two questions
1/ are you trying to connect to an illegal payserver
2/ have you never set up an internal share before
all answers seem to indicate that you are looking for illegal knowledge that you will not find in this forum

Try setting your config rights/permissions to 755.
