can anyone suggest a way for me to move the autobouquet list which I have on my hard drive to my flash usb drive. I am hoping that sorts out listening to the hdd speeding up and the little blue circle appear everytime I change channels. thanks in advance

Channel list is stored on flash memory.

Your issue is most probabl the picons, not channel list.

You should store the picons in internal flash (/picon directory) if you have enough space available. Failing that, on USB stick. As abu says above, your issue is probably the picons if stored on HDD. The disk has to spin up and locate picons every time you change channel.

If you want to store picons on HDD, enable timeshift, that way your HDD is constant on when viewing TV and changing channels.

But there is no good reason for storing them on HDD at all.
Flash is the fastest available location, and as you've already paid for the flash, you'd better use it
