Need some advice for Zgemma S2

I have installed a Zgemma at my mums in Ireland and also installed openwebif on the box I was wondering is it possible for me to access the box to add plugins ect or reset if they were having issues from the UK via openwebif?? or does it have to be done via teamviewer? never tried this before from a different location

zgemma is a clone, it has no support from vix, seriously trying to install any VIX updates may cause the box to brick, or you could get lucky and it might just set on fire.
