if the frequency exists then you need to do a rescan so it gets scaned into the box the sat.xml is only to direct the frequencies to the box but they still need to be scanned to be placed in
Dear silverfox0786 ,
Thanks for quick reply, I already scanned but still not getting any channel.

are they in a bouquet if not press down arrow to show channel list then press red for all channels and scroll down to see if they are there
these channels are not exist in bouquet,
goto menu-setup-service searching-satfinder-choose tuner-select manual transponder and enter transponder details to see your SNR
Dear jimmychen,
When I tried satfinder as you explained, there is AGC is 73%, SNR is 0%, BER is 0 and Lock is unselected, the transponder is 4132000, 9200000, H,FEC 3/4, how can i get the SNR. My other receiver FTA is working fine on the same frequency.
Please help me.
I presume that someone has noticed that these would appear to be C band frequencies, does that make a difference to LNB settings etc ?
Dear dmgp, you are right this frequencies are belongs to C band, other channels are working fine on the same setting but these channels are not.
The only thing I can think of for you to try is to alter the frequency a bit up and down in the search, some receivers are a couple of Mhz off , or maybe the LNB LO frequencies don't quite match ?
did you add the satellites .xml file m8?and if so its deffo in the right place?
have you tried loading a ready made channel list that contains the sat and channels your after?

wait a min I did notice that it was c band but did not ask do you actually have a c band lnb and primefocus dish connected
he says they are working on a different receiver.
Dear jimmychen,
Before scanned I copied the updated satellite.xml file from http://satellites-xml.eu/, but I don't have a ready made channel list
for ASIASAT 3S satellite, can you tell me how can I get ready made channel list. Please help me.
Silverfox these channels are working fine on my FTA satellite with same LBN and Disk.

Hi
I am on weak ice now cause I can not get that sat so forgive if i am not right.
So they belongs to C-band and You can not receive them at same time when your old receiver can handle them.
Have You tried to go to tuner configuration and advanced option to chance lnb options to c-band?

thats a good starting point, did your old receiver get these channels all day and night?
check lnb settings.
how old is your lnb and wiring?is your dish spot on?
Dear All Friends,
These channels are working fine day and night in my FTA box, I get others channels on my Vu Duo box but 3 channels which I mentioned above are not scanned, I checked the LNB setting and dish is spot becuase others channels on the same satellite are working fine.

wyder are you using a dedicate dc band lnb or a co-rotor with c and ku and how is the poloritation handled
what i'm baffled with is they work on your FTA box but not the duo as far as i'm aware they should work
dear Silverfox
The lnb is dedicated to C band only.
Just received my Duo two days ago and have the same problem, kindly take a look at:
http://www.vuplus-support.co.uk/showthread.php?1596-Tuner-Software-Bug-with-Vu-Duo
Dear Ahmedsa
Did you solved the problum. If yes please explain, still I haven't receive some of the channels.
It is not a really a fix. The solution must come from VU+ allowing the tuner driver to search with a tolerance of “+/-“1 or more for each frequency.
To work around this, I had to open the satellites.xml file and add 1 to each missing frequency and rescan again.
Doing this, I found extra 300 channels missing from NileSat 7W.
Dear All
Please find the attached file which contains configuration of 4 Satellites on my VU+ Duo box, all satellites are working fine with all missing channels (missing channels are added manually after full scan)
Thanks for everyone.
