View Full Version : [VU+ Solo2] Streaming Performance
Hi guys,
My Solo2 is connected via Ethernet to my router.
My wife is watching TV so I wanted to watch the NFL.
So i go to my web browser and grab the stream (Not the transcoded one)
Im on a macbook using VLC (on Wifi) with direct line of sight to the router (not more that 10 feet away)
Picture quality is great however it freezes every so often.
Is there anything I can do to fix this???
Any suggestions?

do you mean the unofficial stream?
do you mean the unofficial stream?
Nope
This is the stream from TunerB on the box itself
My wife is watching TunerA
Hi,
HD or SD stream? If HD try SD. What connection speed does your router show? Do you have the WiFi for your own or do you have a lot of SSIDs from neighbors? Streaming live TV is quite sensitive because real buffering is not possible so if there is a break in the speed you see a freezer.
ciao

Its not a HD channel im watching if thats what you mean so im using SD.
It doesnt show me a speed but i have a full signal and im fairly close to the router.
Not many other SSID's where Im living.
does BBC work fine?
Not sure
I will test this tonight.
I will also test a direct cable to the router and try rule out the Wifi as an issue.
