vix 1.3 epg

Ok I have switched to 1.3 but have one problem.

When I press the epg button how do I set it to go directly to bouquet selection screen rather than channel info screen.

menu, setup, vix menu, vix settings and set

QuickEPG Usage to 'Long press OK'

Thanks but that did not give me what im after. Im using the vix epg and want to see this screen when I press the epg button.

In VIX 1.3 as far as i use it if you press up or down the the channel list will appear then if you press blue the screen you show above will show up

or if you press ch-/+ it will scroll though bouquets within the channel menu

yeh I found the screen I want by pressing +/- but was hopeing there was an option to go directly to bouquet screen. I did not backup 1.2 either so no easy way back lol I should have known better.

there may be but as i am happy with default setting i have not looked into it deaper maybe someone else who knows will have an answer

ok thanks this option was available on 1.2 maybe i just need to go back to the good old cross epg and edit the py file to get what I want.

back on 1.2 until i get thi sorted.

Cant remember the options atm, but what do you get if you hold down epg button? (i'm at work right now, so cant check)

I tryed that mate but just gives single epg. I spent a good few hours checking different options before changing back to 1.2. On 1.2 you just start epg then press menu then select the option to start at bouquets, I was really suprised to find this option missing in 1.3 as it makes the EPG very user freindly.

i'll have a look, if it does not slow it down, then i'll ad the option, but if it does i wont be adding it, as where mainly after speed rather than features

thanks Andy never really had any issues with EPG speed myself probably because I only use a few sats.
