VU Solo+ dead??

Hi,

Looks like today's lightning has killed the box, main light is on the front but no display, sounds like the hd is spinning up any ideas???????

Take the lid off and see if there are any obvious signs of damage etc. but if you do suspect electrical damage do not It power it on again until you get it looked at or you could cause more damage.

Thanks Larry, checked no apparent burn marks anywhere, took out the HD tried to power it up in a sledge but in only spins up briefly, so not sure whether to buy another HD or try to re-image this one?
