There are no best picons. All depends what size you want the picons, what skin you are using, what channels/satellites you are going to watch and personal preference.

Can these be downloaded from plugins, or via the site?

I advise to use MK's 400x200 SNP picons, absolutely stunning they are. And as you are using a Vu+ Duo2 I recommend to ftp them to the root, basically stored on flash. You can find them here >> http://www.openvix.co.uk/index.php?dir=%2A%2A%2APicons%2A%2A%2A/MK%20Picons/400x240%20SNPicons/
Also if you use a skin like Bello, Confluence or YouViX-Blue, really do complement each other nicely. [emoji106]🏼

Thanks again.

All the picons need to be in a folder called "picon" and just ftp over to the root or if you prefer, format a usb stick to fat32 and put the picon folder to the root of the usb stick. Don't install to your HDD, not recommended!

I actually don't prefer MK picons, i prefer the original channel logo's on my LCD screen, ocram SHD are fine.

If the USB stick is not going to be used between PC and receiver, might be better to have it in Linux file system. You can initialise/format it using receiver to achieve this.

Best way would still be:

-Format USB stick in pc FAT32/ext4
-Put IPK file on USB
-Put USB in receiver
-Install "Local extension" with the remote in VIX settings menu.

Fool proof, always works and the flash is used for what they put it in the box, storing things.

Otherwise, what's next, run the image from a 512GB SSD, so that the flash will always be empty.

Ive FTP the picons in a file to the root of the box, where do I go from here?
