Problem Flashing my MX2 box

Hi all, I have being trying to flash my mx2 box to get it to a linux based Kodi box. I flashed it back to 1.1.5 firmware as per the supa chargedios tutorial and then tried to flash the linux kodi file. The recovery mode threw up this message
finding update package
opening update package
verifying update package
installation aborted.

I have tried to flash it with other software since and all I get now is this error. any help would be appreciated.

By linux kodi file i presume you mean openelec? You may get better support by asking the question on their forum.
