i've noticed that files with strange filenames appear in /home/root...
is that an indication that the filesystem is corrupted?
can i check the ubifs somehow? similar to e2fsck for jffs2?
thanks.

Is the box exposed to the public internet (forwarded router ports)?

looks like epg garbageNot exactly. It says it is an Enigma EPG file - namely the EPG cache file.

so it's a regular enigma file? the file name is odd though... and not always the same, if i recall it correctly.

have not seen those garbage files since i moved epg.dat to hdd.
looks like there is interference between shutdown and writing the file to flash which causes those file system problems.
