Hades018 unzip problem

Hello there, new to all this.
Just after a bit of help. Stuck at the first hurdle. lol
I've downloaded the Hades018 and now trying to unzip to my USB.
When it unzips i get these files(see pic)44186

What am I doing wrong please? Surely they shouldn't be this file type Yes/No??

Yes that's exactly how it should look, copy the entire Vuplus folder with its contents intact to the usb stick.

Thanks. I've done that and when I put in solo and turn on, the USB flashes away then black hole just starts.
That's why I thought I was doing something wrong. I'll try it again.

make sure usb is not bigger than 8gb kingston/cruzer/integral and follow your box flashing guides as some boxes want a button pressed to start the process.

Ah thanks guys got it. I had to press the power button once it struck up. I kept missing that instruction.
Is there a dummies guide to set hades up from here on in?

Just at the auto bouquets maker providers.
Would I put my local area and then chose SD and not HD?
Also do I include ROI bouquet and would I chose HD for this seeing as this can be watched in HD??
So much to take in lol.

You need to select your area and make sure it is Custom keep pressing the remote > until it says your area and Custom.

Freesat UK = NO
SKY ROI =NO
Sky UK =Yes
Sky UK area =East Midlands custom
Sky UK FTA only = No
All the rest are Yes.

I've done that, now when I scan i get timeout for tuner lock..
Any ideas on that please?

Whats tuner B need to be set at please? I think that may be my error.
I have A set at single and B set at toneburst

Set tuner B the same has A.

Got them both set at the same and keep getting timeout for tuner lock

Do both tuners have signal cables direct from satellite dish?

Yes there's 2 cables coming from dish to the box.

YOu need to ensure that there is signal on both tuners for the frequnecy that ABM uses. Use satfinder for both tuners.

Yes checked sat finder. Only turner A was showing a signal. Tuner B was showing nothing.

You will need to investigate cause of no signal. (F plugloose, LNB issue, cable issue, touching braid etc) For now disable tuner B.

P.S you should really have started a new thread for the ABM issue.

Sorted it guys. I cut off the connectors and replaced them. That's done the trick. They were working fine in sky box so I just assumed that wasn't the problem.
