Vu+ Zero stuck on flash

I'm trying to flash my Vu+ Zero with Openvix Hades 018 but it's not working. I've tried 3 different USB sticks formatted to Fat32. 2 of them I've used to flash a solo2 previously.

I even tried flashing Hdes 016 but that doesnt work either. This is what happens....

1. I drop the Vu Plus folder to the root of the flash drive.
2. I insert the flash drive
3. Power on the box
4. The light flashes twice
5. The light pulses from bright to dim repeatedly
6. I've waited over an hour on one occasion but nothing is happening.

Have you tried a couch flash? To do this press blue button > ViX > Image Manager. (Image Manager lets you download images) Also Backup Manager lets you do a backup of your settings etc and when you restore when you've downloaded the image you can restore settings n plugins etc.

There was no image on the box. It's factory new.

When you took the usb out n rebooted receiver, anything? You are formatting the usb stick to fat32 yeah?

Regardless of weather its factory new or not it has to have a image on it even if its the bog standard Vu+ image that it ships with from the factory.

It had loaded OpenVix but there was no indication that it had. Unless the pulsing light is an indication of that but according to the guide the pulsing light is an indication the box is still flashing
