I had posted this in the Vu Solo2 section as I didn't even know there was a dedicated section to Kodi/XBMC Launcher on Enigma 2. Anyhow, im hoping someone reading through this section may have the answer. Just as an update, I have also tried making Enhanced Movie Player the default player for XBMC launcher but no luck

I am messing around with NBC sports plugin on XBMC built into my solo 2. I updated the plugin and have entered my valid NBC sports account details in the configuration within XBMC
I know I need a VPN and will be buying a pre configured VPN router which I am hoping will do what I need it to do. However I have set the NBC plugin to show free stuff only at the minute but when I go to the plugin through XBMC on my vu solo2 noting plays, just a black screen. Media player attempts to start and stops then around a minute later, without picture and sound starting.
Im guessing its a video playback issue and have read a few posts as to using an alternative default playback option on XBMC on the solo2. I followed a post to use Media Player2 as the default player now but same result.
I am using latest VTI image on the receiver. I know its not an issue with the version of the NBC plugin as I have it working on an android TV box with my NBC sub and a VPN. But that's in another room.,
I would really like NBC sports working through my solo2 if possible, and im guessing it might be a video playback issue that can be resolved? Anyone any ideas... I know there are lots of other plugins on XBMC on solo2 which don't play, but im hoping someone has an idea how to get NBC sports plugin working before the start of the season - and again, I know a VPN is needed to fully use the app, but the free stuff should at least work for now before I buy the VPN router
