vu duo problems

hay guys.new to the forum

i have had a vu duo box for around a year set it up and everything thing was running sweet.
then one morning i woke and i had a error on the tv saying error vu duo has to restart as something to do with the software.
so i downloaded haydes imagae and started the box from scratch,installing the bootloader and image,line after following the handy vu duo tut guide someone kindly made.
after sorting the last bits out with filezilla and uploading to duo box i thought my luck was in.but all im getting is free channels but the other channels are just black and no sound.
is there something on the remote i have pushed or setting i have done?
is it that i have had fibre optic installed?
can you help

You need to menu, setup, softcam, softcam manager and start your cam. Word of warning though, we don't discuss lines or anything else to do with card sharing on this forum.

yes i have done that but still the dreaded black screen

If the cam is set to autostart then your config file is something that needs checking, are you sure you have entered it correctly?
