complete rookie question

hi just got my new xtrend 8000 delivered from wos, setup the box using the setup wizard and all is fine, picked up 900 odd channels, i cant view anything sky related, is this because i require a channel list or bouquet?

also i tried setting up the ABM but it just fails everytime, will start to scan for sky uk then just come up with a error message saying timeout for tuner lock but when scanned on automatic scan it will pick up all channels

it is flashed to vix hades

Have you a valid sky sub with card inserted in the box?

What tuners have you in the EXT8000?
How have you them set in tuner configuration? Menu -> Setup -> Service Searching -> Tuner Configuration. (A screenshot might be easier here)

If you have configured a tuner as if it has signal wire connected to it when there isn't, this will be the cause of the timeout issue.
