vu duo 2 problem

Hi I have a vu duo 2 box with openatv v5 on there, every day when I get up I have the word message wrote on front display, box won't turn on have to keep switching it off at the wall. Does anyone have any idea what this problem could be is it cross epg related. My xpeed lx2 box has same thing problem with same image. Hope someone can help or advise.

Hi,
perhaps it is still on. Try pressing exit a few times. Do you have open ports in your router for your STBs? If yes close them.

No mate no open ports not what I know to think I pressed exit button the other day but didn't work will try it again though. Thanks for help.

perhaps ask in OpenATV board where message might come from. My idea was that a popup appeared and must be acknowledged.

Hi I would strongly recommend trying the OpenDroid image. I've found it to be a more stable "version" of OpenAtv on the Duo2.
