hi, first thanks for reading this and secondly sorry to all the people i will annoy lol

i had a kryptview hd a850 and am getting rid of it, so been looking at boxes and have settled on a Giga Blue HD Quad Plus with hybrid cable tuner, haven't purchased yet but seems like a good box??

also been quoted £195 to have a 100cm motorised dish installed to for satellites, the installer was trying to sell me a technomate but said i wanted a one for the cable aswell as sat and he looked confused?

how hard is the box to set up? are they reliable? good quality picture?

thanks in advance for any help

we are getting adventurous now going for a better box:D giga quad i thought about but went for the xtrend 10000 2 cable tuners and 2 sats, all the boxes are more or less setup the same with vix image, getting internal hdd for recording? hope the picture is more noticeable on your enigma2 receiver.

best thing to do is read the threads for particular receivers to see any problem download the vix manual pdf to pc for viewing.

all depends if you want 28.2 or get greedy and want multi sats, start off with fixed dish and later if you want can go motorised keeping fixed dish.
if you get kodi direct [ lan service ] might get to see other things [ bit like xbmc ]
