Hi guys. Should these channels be found by ABM and therefore appear in my EPG or should I be adding them manually? I have the frequency but have been wondering if I've missed them somehow within abm? Cheers folks!

They don't have a logical channel number. Will need to create a section in the provider file when someone has time.

Thanks for the heads up.

I would think there will be several "Red Button" BT Sport channels when their soccer coverage gets going, so may be worth one of the Python guru's having a look at it :)

Nothing can be done until those channels appear.

Then check out 11.344 H DVB-S QPSK SR 27.5 FEC 2/3 with the id 53220, 53230, 53240, 53250, 53260, 53297

As you know, ABM and AB 28.2 data in the tables. Until such time as this data includes these channels in a form that we can use, the best we can do is hacks. What's the point doing so if we have to redo it?

for now we can add their EPG/Channel IDs to the whitelisting. Section if HD. And also renaming section as a temporarily measure. We may add a new section for them later. However, it is still guesswork. After data is on tables, the guesswork won't be required.

I'm not sure they are going to be in the tables. BT Sport extra 1 and the original Mosaic have been in use several times over the last few Months but do not appear in the tables. I think a hack for ABM may be necessary. It's easy enough to add them to AB in the supplement file

Please forgive my stupidity! Where do I place the file AND is there anything I need to do on the box settings afterwards? All your fantastic help fully appreciated. I've learnt SOOO much!

They are in the DVB tables. They are in "BSkyB Test" and "BSkyB Interactive Test", but not the regular regions.

According to reports, they are in the tables for all regions and are found using the N1 version of Autobouquets.

Turned out that your new test channels ARE in the stream, and all are a unique type="85" data ID

Does the ABM block and unknown service types?

ABM only allows certain types. What you seek was added a few days ago.

Until they are official you can also add this to the ITV/Rename section.

6510: "UTV HD",
5382: "BT Sport Xtra 2",
5383: "BT Sport Xtra 3",
5384: "BT Sport Xtra 4",
5385: "BT Sport Xtra 5",
5386: "BT Sport Xtra 6"

Missed that update, that'll teach me for only checking the providers LOL

Just need to figure out how to add them to the Sports section now, using channels_to_add isn't adding them.

According to reports, they are in the tables for all regions and are found using the N1 version of Autobouquets. No, they are not. They are only in the "BSkyB Test" and "BSkyB Interactive Test" bouquets.

If you can't wait use the attached file. Requires "not-indexed" to be active as the channels are NOT yet in the regional bouquets. And requires the latest version of dvbscanner, also included.

Does the ABM block and unknown service types?ABM has a whitelist of service types. These channels are type 133, which is one of the permitted service types.

Thanks, works well. I have removed the original 2 screen Mosaic from my list ID=5030 as I doubt that will get used any more.

Hope it's ok to ask, but are these channels available via ABM as yet or are they still only in the Sky Test section?

If they are in a Sky Test section, they will be picked up by AMB.

Cheers judge. Yes, I see them in the Sky Test, but I was just wondering if maybe I was missing them 'officially' in a main bouquet within ABM.

Latest version of ABM will also place them in a bouquet for you.

What about Lraizer plugin, will it do it as well?

Looking to order another box but think I'll wait till the new image is released - any idea when this will be.

Working with Al to improve script.

AB 28.2 will not create a bouquet for them until Lraizer has a look at it. I'll probably add them to 480-486 to avoid a clash. Will have to be updated regularly as they dont have a proper number.

Test/undefined channels are always in the "other" bouquet, so not very difficult to copy them into a new bouquet.

I've used the supplement.txt to put them at 450-456 to match the numbers on a BT TV box.

I won't be doing that becuse it clashes with the HD channel numbers.

When it's deleting the non-available HD channels, it's not a problem.

abu baniaz
12-08-15, 00:43
It deletes when you set it to available HD. If you set it to all available channels, those slots are not vacant. Granted that is what most people will use. Somebody should be able to run as per provider mode and not have clashes.

We digress. This is an ABM thread.

There is no EPG info for these channels.

One of my friends had someone who was having problems with his Zgemma Star receiver. I don't know what the problem was, but my friend doesn't have cable, so he flashed the receiver, and asked me to do a scan for channels, as my friend doesn't have cable. I think it was Open ATV image that was on the box.

Anyway, after I scanned it, I noticed the Zgemma Star box had the BT Interactive channels.

Hi - is there any chance of creating the BT Sports Interactive bouquet when the provider is set to Sky ROI? Currently it only works when the provider is SKY UK.

Use "Custom Northern Ireland" in providers and in expert mode settings, set "include 'not indexed' channels" to YES. Save and rescan.
