The old plugin Youtubeplayer is difficult to repair any more. So I have made a new plugin which is attached.
Plugin NewTubePlayer streams videos from Youtube via VLC mediaplayer started on TV, and plugin Vlcplayer installed on the dreambox.
The plugin should work with all dreamboxes with enigma2 images. However it is intended for dm7025 (please test), dm7020, dm600pvr and dm500plus.

I have personally tested it on Vu+ and it works a charm it actually better than any utube plugin i used so far.
Firstly you need to install the plugin below and the vlc plugin on your box and on your pc

just remember though also vlc plugin Vu will need
Transcode MPEG/DVD Video to yes
Transcode MPEG/DVD Audio to yes
Audio Code- MPEG Layer 3 (mp3)
once that is done you need to configure newtubeplayer
Set your Region [Your Country]
Set your time span [This is the time frame search of you tube posts]
Set std.Feeds [This is what sort of post to search for]
Green to save this selection
As The colour buttons label you can search or browse
Videos will be listed as to the above criteria
chose your video and press ok... Done
