Moving channel order help

Is there a way of changing the channel order using Auto Bouqet maker ? , when I press tv , all channels , menu, enable move mode I can select a channel
however it wont let me drop it where I want it in the channel list

All I want to do is have all the BBC channels , ITV channels all bunched together

Any help much appreciated

When autobouqet maker updates the epg , will any changes to channel list go back to original ?

Auto bouquet maker doesn't update the epg...? Cross epg won't effect the channel placings. There are lots of reasons you can't move channels around the main bouquet, one is that you can't manually move channels between sections, so a news channel can't be placed in the entertainment section, another reason is wrong information in your lamedb a cause of this can be installing channel lists such as catseyes.

ok thanks, is there any guides available for making my own favorites list so I can have my own channel order ? , I take it this will be my only option for a work around ?
