tune failed

hi, trying to get my bro in laws box going he had problems yesterday with the internet connection (nothing detected) so I have reflashed it with the latest hades image for some reason it won't let me load the new boot loader anyway I get eveything set up fine all channels working ok full scan with abm then press remote to stand by then when switching back on it says on screen tune failed. gone through the process twice now & still the same, any ideas chaps.

did you try other channels as it might be channel movement,also recheck your sat cable is secure.

hi cactikid thanks for the reply yep tried a couple of other channels no joy only did a channel list scan five minutes previous everythings fine on all channels till I put the box on standby then turn it back on comes up tune failed ??????
