XP 1000 rec led is green with no video

Apologies, I'm doing long distance tech support for my 75 year old father, so I have very limited information.

His XP 1000 (bought from the sponsor just over a year ago) appears not to be booting and he tells me that the left led (rec?) is green. I have googled and read the manual but cannot find any information about what this indicates.

Can anyone advise?

Sorry I don't have any more detail other than that it is running a very recent version of vix.

So, it turns out he was talking about a green light on the wifi adapter, which might explain why Google wasn't giving any answers and I stumped you lot :mad: :rolleyes:

Luckily, he also failed to follow the reflash procedure that I asked him to do and all's well :)
