quick question will the sky hd box hard drive work in the duo? or is it to big?

is it 2.5 or 3.5 hard drive that i need to put in their?

in short as long as you have completed you 12 months and the box is your then yes it will work and is a 3.5 same as what is required by a vu+ duo

yeah my 12months is over today, iv opened it and tried to fit this hard drive in but it does not fit in properly, i thought it was to big so i closed it back up. So a 3.5inch will fit then ?

yeah we know that its just i dont want to be promoting any breaches of contract by saying do it b4 12 months

so again although it will work at any time please dont remove a hdd or open the sly box before 12 month contract is up

how do i mount a 3.5inch onto the bracket?? is it the wrong bracket?? or am i doing it wrong

It will work if its less than 12 months old too :)

as silverfox has stated. if you open the box before the 12 month contract is up you breach the TOS ( terms of service ) agreement with sky. and as such this site can not condone that for legal reasons.

yeah iv read that but my drive does not sit in the bracket properly, could it be due to the fact its to big? i took the drive out of the sky hd box and wanted to use that

I have a filling that you are placing the drive on the wrong side of bracket, try other side of it.

its a standard drive in the sly box so it should fit fine
