You still not answered the question m8 which image was you on when it was working and which one are you trying to install. I suggest downloading the latest Hades image and start from scratch with a No Settings Restore.

There should be no need to disconnect the HDD. Have a look at the thread I sent you see if that helps

On the rear of the receiver do you see anything like V2.0 or V3.0? We need to rule out it being a clone first.

first question is the box saying starting in the display and showing a red light=redlight of death issue ?
second question when trying to flash box by usb is it formatted to fat32 and 8gb max, working usb cruzer, kingston and integral?

need others to say if its a clone as original units dont have stickers and wondering if you did an online update that hit the box?

ahh bugger now we know sorry m8.

No genuine Vu+ receiver has ever been shipped from the factory with any form of sticker showing a version number, yours is 100 percent counterfeit and as such you wont get any further help for it here.

it just means you will get no support for that box ,buy an original and get plenty of help:thumbsup:

If you haven't had the box long, perhaps you can get your money back from the guy you bought it from as he deceived you when selling it - after all, if he'd told you it was a clone, you would probably have thought twice about buying it...... most sellers (especially on ebay) will say it's an original for that very reason.
Although you won't get any help on here for a clone box, there are other forums that may provide help, and if your box has a label on the top with a web address saying where to download suitable images, then go there and try re-flashing with a clone-safe image. That's about as much as i'll be allowed to say on the subject i'm afraid.......

Sorry but closing this thread. Take the issue up with the person you bought the clone from and your local trading standards.
