Rewinding on a live recording

I was recording a program while watching another there...when the one I was watching ended I tried to go to the one I was recording via the media button on remote to select it and I tried to rewind it back as it was 15 mins into it....it would not let me do that....only let me reind to the point when I had selected it.....is this not an option that is allowed or is there a setting I need to change in the settings

A recording cant start until you start it manually or via a timer.

You can automtaically start timeshift though.

I have changed (behaviour when a movie is started) to start from the beginning in recording and playback setting
this has sorted my problem out and allows me to be watching live TV and when that has finished I can select what I'm recording via media and it starts from when it started to record....this mght help someone else who has the same issue:thumbsup:
