hi
is it possible to connect a samsung galaxy s tablet to a saterllite reciever via a hdmi cable
otherwise using it as a tv or monitor.
a tv is to big for bedroom :confused:

If the tablet has an HDMI inpiut, then should be possible.

However, if you wi-fi is good enough, you may be better off just streaming to it. I use Dreamdroid and VLC player. There are other software options.

when you say stream will the samsung tablet pick up the sky channels from the GigaBlue USB 2.0 WiFi 300Mbps adapter fitted to my saterllite reciever

Wired is better than wireless, so if you can connect your receiver to the router using an ethernet cable, that is best.

Best to try the streaming. It depends on the traffic/quality of your home network as well as the factors that influence wifi.
