Hi guys stupid question im sure but:

Im about to buy a VU+ Duo2 from sponsors but in another post someone mentioned because its a duel tuner card it has no loop thru but why would you want/need a loop thru

For satellite, you can conenct to another receiver without running a cable from the dish. Limited to same quadrant of spectrum as what the "loopoing out" receiver is watching. I.e cant get all the chanenls.

For Terrestrial, you can connect to another receiver/TV without having to use a splitter.

9 times out of 10 you are not using the second tuner so the full functionality of that feed is available most of the time

So I have A Quad LNB 2 tuner box upstairs and 2 tuner box downstairs so i dont need to worry about a lack of loop thru??

Shouldn't need to.

I have couple of twin triple and quad tuners here and never used loopthrough
