Cancelling auto timers

Hi, is there a way to completely remove auto timers? I tried to set one up and it clashes with 2 existing auto times I have so I tried deleting the new one (all of them in the recordings list) but they just re-appeared when I switched the box back on. So I then tried to disable them but again I got the conflict message when I turned the box back on. Is there any way to get rid of them other than a complete reflash?

After deleting them you have to press save, think it's the yellow button from memory.
