any advise welcome..

It could be driver issue. Try another image using same kernel/drivers. Maybe OpenPLi?

Have you re-enabled HDMI-CEC & restarted the box after flashing?
No issues with it here on multiple boxes & different TVs using Hades 12.

i have ensured the HDMI-CEC is enabled and rebooted box.. no difference. its happened on both boxes using different tv. all worked ok before on vix 3.0 if it is a driver issue is there a way to update the driver?

abu could you point me to the correct PLI image with drivers so I can correctly test?

I have Hades 12 and I don't have this issue neither with my solo2 and a clean install with no restore of settings.

Here are my settings....

hi well ive install and tried open PLI and that was the same info from open pli as follow:

image: openpli4
kernel 3.13.5
gstreamer 0.10.36(GIT)
python version 2.7.3

info form hades image

build 012
image type release
drivers 2015-5-11

nope didn't work on open pli
what I did notice... on the duo when I was running hades it says in HDMI-CEC current cec address 1.3.0.0

when I just loaded vix 3.0 back it said current cec address 2.0.0.0 and it works... so is this something that can be updated???

Try using Clear fixed & Set fixed (blue & yellow buttons) when on Hades and in the HDMI CEC Setup screen.
Also, does your TV remote have a sync button for HDMI CEC devices?

yep tried the clear and set options in the HDMI-CEC option menu.. what is the 1.3.0.0 mean? its odd that installing older vix gave a higher version 2.0.0.0 and it then works

Are you sure you're using the same HDMI port on the TV?
If so, maybe try putting E2 to sleep, look for the line:

config.hdmicec.fixed_physical_address=
in /etc/enigma2/settings & put the known working address in there, restart & let us know if it works.

how do I put e2 to sleep? or do you mean just put on standby?

In a telnet session, issue:

init 4
It really does sound like you're using the wrong HDMI port/different TV though.

in the code it said 1.3.0.0 to I overwrote this with 2.0.0.0 and saved back onto the box. did a restart but diesnt seem to make any change when I go back in to hdmi-cec menu it still says 1.3.0 .0

am I doing something wrong?

can you clarify when you say the wrong HDMI port? I have gone onto the tv menu and its in hdmi1 which is enabled for cec althought it calls it something different.
ive also tried through my onkyo amp. and direct into the tv.

1) Are you using the same TV as you had it working on?
2) Are you using the same HDMI port on the TV?
3) Is it the same box, only difference being an updated image?

4) shouldn't have to be done but if you are editing the settings file, did you manage to put E2 to sleep before editing & saving the file and then rebooting?

yes nothing has changed. same cable, hdmi port, same box, same tv. the only change is the image..
on the vu duo when I put vix 3.0 on in the hdmi cec menu I got "cec address 2.0.0.0" when running hades it said 1.3.0.0

can you confirm the best method to put E2 to sleep

Telnet command

init 4

Did you have any additional devices plugged into the TV when it showed as 2.0.0.0?

Address starting in 1 will be the first device.
Address starting in 2 will be the second device.

As Abu & I said above, to put E2 to sleep, use init 4 in a telnet session.

Hello... i have a little bit different problem with the actually hades on my Vu+ Solo.

i tested different Images (OpenATV, OpenPli, VTi, Black and now OpenVix). OpenVix is for me the best Image. it works perfect on my Solo. But HDMI CEC isnt working correcty. When i put my Solo in StandBy, my TV go in StandBy.. Thats right. But when i put my TV in Standby, my Solo dont go in Standby. in the config from HDMI CEC but is it on. Can everybody help me? Its the latest version from Hades...

Sorry for my bad english...
