Looking for some advice guys.

I am configuring my second zero and have some network problems not experienced with box 1.

When set to DHCP the unit will not pick up an address from my router.

If i config a manual address/subnet/gateway it still fails.

The only way I can get it back on the network is to Factory Reset, set static IP before restarting soft ccam, adding bouquet and re-tuning.

I then seems ok, but it bugs the hell out of me that i cannot get it working on DHCP as I want to take this to my caravan and I am pretty sure that the WiFi up there will only let me have addresses through DHCP.

Any thoughts?

1) Have you read this -> http://www.world-of-satellite.com/showthread.php?44101-How-to-update-Vu-Zero-CFE

2) Have you set up / assigned the MAC for the boxes to a static IP on your router? If you have set up static routes, this may be retaining IP's.

3) Have you limited the amount of IP's in he DHCP so the router is only allowed to distribute xxx amount and maybe you have ran out of IP's.

4) try a router factory reset and remember to save any critical config setup info
