Bootloader Update Required?

Hi all,

I am just about to update my Vu duo from Apollo 153 to the latest Hades via usb however I wanted to know if the bootloader needs to be updated?

I bought my box from the sponsor in December 2013 and Ive never updated the bootloader before.

Just done a quick google and that bootloader was released 2011 so as you got your box in 2013, I'd say you are okay to just flash with latest hades.

Remember, to backup your current image first and you need to do a fresh flash with no restore of settings.

look inside the zip. File are from 10/2011.

If flashing current image works then the most recent boot loader is installed. Afaik the only boot loader for the Duo had the purpose to be able to flash images >64MB.

Thats what got me confused, so I thought might as well double check here.

I also have a technomate nano se, (dont want to start a whole new thread just for the same topic) does the bootloader on that need to be flashed as it looks like the bootloader is recent? Again bought from the sponsor in Feb this year.
