Hi there am interested to buy one of these with a cable tuner, can you use softcams namely mgcamd with tvheadend, also there was a rumor some people were saying enigma 2 was being worked on for this, but a found that far fetched?

I'm currently using OE 5.0.8 with TVH and oscam, and it works very good.

Only need some tweaks to make the channel switch faster.

it's a good combination, have TV + Addons from Kodi/openelec

yea that looks good, hope the development goes well for it,

would be great to dual boot with e2 and kodi

the problem is the mgcamd server ( cable ) in question doesn't allow oscam,

can you enter your mgcamd in oscam,


any help would be really helpful, am only used to cccam and mgcamd within vix, even if you can point me in the right direction, would be helpful

you can convert mgcamd to use in oscam

so you can convert them to use oscam.

For what i spoke with one Mod from the official forum, kodi will be in e2.
you can start e2, and if you want to change to kodi, you can do it.

Quick question wat is tvheadend? Iv heard of this reference but dont quite get it what it is.

I was thinking of gettin a wetek with dual sky and hoping cams wouldeg mgcam and oscam.

I actually like the default firmwares and wont be jumping to e2 just yet due to rcu support and other bugs which will be fixed in time.

Lastly how would you access kodi from e2??? And would it look like kodi or have a e2 skin??

Ahh ok i thought so im just use to calling a tuner pnp device..

I will be buying a wetek soon when i move home but ill prolly stick to android due to app store and kodi and the air remote.. got plenty e2 receivers time for a change
