Faulty stb or sattelite dish

all week when watching tv including fta channels the picture has been freezing and skipping and then that issuse with the glitchy lines.now i get no signal on every channel. ive tried rescanning etc but it doesent pick up any channels which tells me ethier my sky dish needs sorting out or the tuner in my stb is faulty.

is there anyway for me to find out weather its the dish or the stbs tuner causing the problem as i dont want to call someone out to my dish if its my stb causing the problem.

Taking your receiver to another location is one option.

Have u checked the signal levels going to the receiver?

Most likely an issue with your cabling, f-connectors etc.

Yes I would agree with Andy, check the f plugs this is a common problem.

any trees in line of sight as they have new leaves can block line of sight:confused:i lost my broadband that way.

yh it was the trees, i had to get the dish moved to another place
